Day 50: Riding in My Car

Miles always loved music.  When he was young, we mostly listened to music that his mother and I both liked.  We didn’t listen to much music made specifically for kids, except for a really great CD called “A Child’s Celebration of Folk Music.” It includes songs by  Doc Watson, Michelle Shocked, Buckwheat Zydeco, and Pete Seeger.  Miles’s favorite song was by Woody Guthrie, “Riding in My Car.” It’s a good fun song.

When I logged on to Miles’s computer, I found that he had a whole bunch of Woody Guthrie CDs ripped onto his hard drive.  It was nice to see his interests harken back to that CD we received as a gift many years ago.
